Production Logo

We took a simple image of a black eye on a white background with the Production name 'White Productions'.  We felt this to be effective as it is not too detailed and therefore doesn't distract the audience away from the rest of the titles and production.  The name appears legitimate and professional and therefore makes the film seem more realistic to our audience.  The image is has a scary quality as the eye is squinting slightly, reinforcing the fact that it is a thriller production.  It is black on white to symbolise a binary opposition of good and evil, the good representing the female character, Sarah, and the evil highlighting Alexia's villain character.  The logo fades in with a subtle non diegetic sound of wind in the background to create a mystery.  The production name is in a simple black capitalised serif font with a slight shadow behind it to create  a sense of not knowing as we never know what's lurking in the shadows throughout a thriller. We made the production logo in Pinnacle Studios by creating an overlay title.  We placed our image of the eye in the centre and added 'WHITE PRODUCTIONS' just underneath.  We then went on to edit the effects of it by adding a fade in and and fade out motion.
